| The Research and Development team at Arizona Turf Solutions has developed a truly revolutionary new Synthetic Turf System. Typically, artificial turf surfaces have a tendency to get uncomfortably warm in the Arizona sun, you could compare it the heat of your pool's cool-decking in the summer, which is tolerable but may be a bit to warm for an area dedicated for children, like a playground, poolside oasis, or backyard. |

Construction: 100% UV Specific Pet-Safe
Polyethelene w/ Poly Secondary Thatch
Weight: (High Density) 85 Ounces/Square Yard
Backing: High Durability 26 ounce Urethane
Color: UV Specific Medium Field Green
Details: This product is manufactured with a
specific yarn designed to minimize absorption of
UV rays. The art of mechanically stitching the
yarn into the backing is called "thatching". In
our manufacturing process we've concluded that
some thatching patterns also help minimize the
collection of hot UV rays. We've done exactly that
with our new Kool-Turf product. This particular
yarn is a UV specific shade of green found to help
minimize absorption of heat. So far the testing of
this product has yielded a reduction in heat
output of up to 30%!!!
This product combined with another revolutionary
product, our new Kool-Fill, adds additional
cooling effects versus traditional artificial turf
products. Kool-Fill is an Acrylic "sand" (pictured
below) designed to minimize heat absorption up to
an additional 20%!!
